Bhutan tourism offers a unique "high-value, low-impact" experience focused on preserving its rich Buddhist culture, pristine environment (it's carbon-negative!), and the philosophy of Gross National Happiness (GNH). Visitors pay a daily Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) that covers accommodation, meals, guides, and transport, ensuring an all-inclusive, managed trip.
Key highlights include dramatic Himalayan landscapes, ancient monasteries like Tiger's Nest, archery, unique spicy cuisine (chili & cheese!), and a deep sense of peace, with regulated tourism preventing overcrowding.
The most spectacular mountain flights you will ever experience in a lifetime. Flying in from the heat of the plains of India one can witness from the left side of the window of the aircraft a series of the world’s highest peaks.
Your pilot will announce the names of the peaks if the weather is clear. You will descend into the high mountains and enjoy the view of the approaching valley of Paro, the alpine forests, little monasteries, temples and farmhouses.
Before the plane touches the runway you will get a glimpse of the fertile valley of Paro, the Paro Dzong and Parochu (river).
Our Representative will be at the Airport to assist you, meet and greet and transfer to the capital city Thimphu and the rest of the day at leisure.
